    Hi all,

We just bought a Yamaha celeste and the top end is out of tune.  I've never heard of tuning one of these as I thought the "tines" were like a Xylophone or marimba and always stayed pretty much in tune.

I looked on the Yamaha website and there are no instructions on how to tune them.

Do any of you know what to do?

    Thanks

    Paul

    1) Borrow an ETD (SAT, Reyburn iRCT etc) and measure the pitches especially in the top octaves. 2) Call Yamaha, perhaps the piano people have the information you need. If not, they'll point you in the right direction. You may have long "wait times", I hope not.
