    Hello all,

I have a client with a a Yamaha GP1 that a several broken shanks. I've contacted Yamaha parts and they say they're "back ordered" or unavailable. Does anyone know if the GH1, or any other model, have the same size shanks and flanges so I can replace them on the GP1.

    Thanks for any info!

Yamaha keeps track of their parts by part number. If the GP1 and the GH1 use the same size hammer shank, then they would have the same part number, which means that they would both be on back order. If you can't wait, then you would need to get them from a third-party manufacturer like Wim suggested.
