Using PTG

Your Profile

To make the most of the PTG web presence you should begin by looking at your own profile. Every member has one automatically. It’s up to you how much information you want in your profile. You should know how to find your profile and check it. Go to my.ptg.org/home. In the upper right corner you’ll see a box“Sign In.” Click that and you’ll get a request to enter your user name and password. This information was sent to you when you paid your dues and received a mailing with your member card. That mailing included your user name and password. If you can’t find that mailing, get your user name and password from the PTG home office.

Once you’ve signed in, the “sign in” box will show a generic silhouette and a small triangle. Click on the triangle and you’ll access your profile. Add as much information as you want. There are small pencil icons that give you access to the various parts of the page.

CommunitiesClick on "Communities" to get a short list of possibilities

Communities are groups of individuals who share a common interest. Each chapter has a community. There are also many member-created communities. Some communities have a closed membership, but most are open to all members. You can check out a community without joining, but by clicking the join link and filling out the choices you’ll have for communicating (daily via email? A daily digest? And more)
