I began music lessons at 7, at 16 I became responsible for a blind tuner working in my father's retail business. I was intrigued by the work he did and accepted his offer to teach me. I have been very blessed to have an abundance of outstanding mentors. 43 years in this profession has not dulled my enthusiasm in the least. I have little formal education, but I've made thousands of mistakes and have learned much from them.
