Here we go again! It's so nice getting older because one has so many more opportunities to do something for the first time, even though you've done in many times in the past!

If I recall correctly (big doubt there….), there are two different size YC action brackets for two different action spreads among various models and years of manufacture. Or is it that there is only one size replacement bracket, but two different action spreads? I have a set of unused brackets in my shop, but I am trying to determine whether they are going to be the proper fit for the YC G-150 #G 051292 that I saw today that I will be doing a bracket replacement job on.

    Thanks!

I recall there being two different size brackets. I've only had to do this twice but I had to tell them which bracket to send. I believe it has to do with the footprint.

Some actions have two different bracket heights. The two end brackets would be shorter than the central ones. The spread is 112.5 prior to 1992 and 113.2 thereafter. The spread is set by the placement of the wippen rail on the rear bracket surface.
