  • 1.  WANTED: Sterner Key Pin remover

    I am wondering if anyone has this type of key-pin puller that they are not using, and would like to sell.  PianoTek used to carry these, but they don't any longer.  I'm looking for an easier and much quicker way of pulling out the balance and front rail pins in the keyframe than vice-grips or a drill.

    Use a nipper to grab the pin close to the wood, and a very small pry bar to lift the pin out. Very quick, and easy on the hands.

    I use a pair of long handle diagonal cutters to grip the pin and pry the pin out.
