Our Events

  • Appalachian Piano Tech Playground

    Apr 14 - 17, (ET)
Join us for a weekend event happening in Pipestem, WV, April 14-16. It is not exam prep, although some of the learning stations will cover some things on the tech exam. It is being hosted by John Parham, RPT from NC, and Maggie Jusiel. The level of the stations range from beginning to intermediate. This is a small gathering limited to 20 people. The location is rustic, so if you are the type that doesn't love hostel situations (not hostile...lol) and expects convention style hotel accommodations, skip this one. ;-)  If you love the "great outdoors", beautiful scenery and campfires, please check us out. We have a limited number of private rooms (room only; first come, first serve), dorms, and primitive camping, all with bathroom/shower access. There are other hotel or cabin accommodations within 15 minutes, but they fill up fast. There are restaurants within 5 to15 minutes and there will be a large, commercial kitchen with 3 refrigerators for those who wish to bring their own food. The event is priced accordingly ($50-60). There will be a never ending supply of coffee and hot water for tea. More about the event can be found on this page:  https://timandmaggie.net/appalachian-piano-tech-playground .
