I will be applying a fallboard decal to a Knabe Baltimore 5' 2" grand (1928), but the piano has landed in my hands with no hint of the original decal.  Decals Unlimited has several choices.  Since this piano has some historic significance in its present setting, I would like to have it as close to original as possible.  Can anyone post a picture of what you are seeing on comparable pianos of this vintage?

Thanks for any help you can give me on this.

Hi Floyd.  Here's a picture of one we recently did.  It's was a 6'4" made in 1918.  Not sure how it would compare to yours.

    Hi Floyd,

I found this web page with a 1926 for sale.  You can see the decal in some of the pictures.

    Good luck!

    Peace,

In the shop we have a 6'-4" mahogany finish Knabe grand, estimated date mid 1920's and its fallboard decal looks like Decal Unlimited #2301. Also have a straight strung Knabe grand, assuming late 1800's with a fallboard decal that looks like #2299. Send your email address if you would like me to send you photos.
