If you are one of the 85 or so instructors teaching at the 2013 PTG convention, you're probably putting the finishing touches on your presentation. I just posted a slide template for the Chicago convention that you are welcome to use. Copy and paste the graphic into your master slide or on any page where you'd like it to appear.

Browse through the list of newly posted library items, especially the one describing adult learners and the best ways to reach them. PTG is really embracing learning outcomes as a way to provide clear direction for student expectations and results. Take a look at the :Learning Outcomes Add Value" fact sheet and try your hand at turning your class goals and objectives into student outcomes. All of the examples given came from descriptions for this year's classes. It's easier than you think and a little practice will make you a pro at writing your own learning outcomes.

If you have some instructor resources you'd like to share, please do so. And, never hesitate to ask questions or make suggestions. Stay tuned for future posts about how learning keeps us young!
