Bass Wire Replacing in Bush & Lane Grand

Greetings, All:

This message is more of an opinion gathering than anything else. We have begun the restoration process on our 1926 6' 6" Bush & Lane Welte (Style 75 in Hepplewhite case) and thought we would post inquiring if anyone has been particularly impressed with bass wires they have installed as of late. A tremendously overbuilt piano with a VERY robust bass (even with original strings and worn, hardened, grooved hammers), it really is an instrument that deserves the best.
