We went to Champaign-Urbana for the Engineering Open House of the University of Illinois. I was secretly hoping to meet the technician who takes care of the pianos there. It was in the Chemistry building when my husband Bill spotted a man with a Steinway shirt. It turned out to be John Minor, head technician at the University of Illinois. Soon we were chatting and making plans for a local CAUT meeting.
