PITCH RAISING
Chris Peacock will present two techniques that will effectively reduce the risk of broken strings and will discuss electronic and aural techniques for accuracy.
STRING SPLICING
Bob Bussell will conduct a hands-on demonstration of string splicing. Splicing when possible is often a better and faster alternative to string replacement. It is a skill that all technicians should have and is also a requirement of the technical exam. We will have tools and wire available for practicing or you may use your own tools.
