Going to tune a Mason & Hamlin grand Thursday and the bolts to attach
the lyre were lost. Anyone know the size, or maybe suggest a
range of sizes to take with me? I don't know if it's the original M&H
    or the Aeolian.
    Thanks for any help.

Normally it is 3/4" but I would take an adjustable just in case.

    Gary,
Take the following and you will be almost certain to have the correct bolt:

    3/8" x 16
    1/2" x 20
    1/2" x 13
    Mark,
I believe you are in error. In all my research, I haven't come across a
3/4" diameter bolt for a lyre. It's incredibly big. Did you mean 1/2"?

Our old M&H grands here at UNL use 1/2". 3/8 might be too wimpy for M&H.
    Perhaps an Aeolian might.

    Good Luck!

Also, if it is a new production M&H it has an odd length! I had to order
two from "Fastenal" to replace some that some movers lost. I think they
were 2-3/4" long. No one around here had them in stock.
