I rarely ever/never check my profile to view messages. By the time I see there is something there, it has been months past. Why can't messages simply be posted to one's e-mail account? BTW I hate cross-posting... but I did it just to be as annoying as lost e-mail posts on-site.
BTW, my e-mail address and website are in my sig file. Since my web-server does not always forward my e-mails in a timely manner,
