People were looking for split mutes earlier on. They are available here. (U.S. seller)

Why not make your own with a dab of CA?

When I stopped being able to find the spring steel split mutes that's exactly what I did. These are both about 10 years old and I use them both daily.

This is great Steven. I have to say, the last time I ordered these split mutes on line, I received a refund two days later because the supplier no longer had them in stock. In this case, they are already being shipped - from a different supplier. If they match the photo, I'll be a happy camper.

    Thanks!

I find it necessary to order 5 to find one that works the way I want. However, the one I'm using now has been in my kit for 15 or more years. Good return on investment.
