Has anybody had any experience with Proxxon equipment, specifically the table saw. Would it be appropriate for trimming hammer tails and maybe tapering?

    TIA

I have one that I sometimes use in keytop work...angle cutting back of tails, shortening tails before use. Occasionally for trimming fronts. It seems fine for light work, is variable speed. I haven't tried it for thick materials or for wood thicker than 1/4 inch. The blade height system/angle is a bit awkward to adjust. It has a direct drive so is sturdier in use than the similar Exacto belt driven mini table saw that has no angle adjustment capability.

Their belt sanders won't track, get hot, and are underpowered.  I won't buy any more of their tools.
