    A member of our faculty recently played a gig in Washington DC and played a SHADD piano built by Warren Shadd.  She was apparently very impressed by the touch and tone of this piano and asked us to research it further.  Unfortunately, my colleagues and I have never seen or heard one of these pianos, so I thought I'd see if anyone here has encountered one of these pianos.

    This is from their website. I'd never heard of them before this. Kind of vague about where the pianos are actually made from what I can see, but I haven't explored the whole site.
