  • 1.  Noxon Metal Polish DISCONTINUED??

    We've been happy using Noxon  7 Metal Polish for the past 40 years in our shop but find the product DISCONTINUED. I call the distributor to verify this was the case. Anyone know why it was pulled off the market? We DO see it advertised for 6 times the old price of $4.99. What's a comparable product for brass polishing?

    I use Blue Magic, Metal Polishing Cream. Works real fast on capstans.
    For a satin finish, sand with 320, then 400, then 4/0 steel wool or grey ScotchBrite. Then two coats of wax.
    Rain Dance paste Wax (2 thin coats) was preferred but is also discontinued. Now 2 thin coats of Blue Magic.

    At one of the PTG National Conferences someone recommended Simichrome polish.  I tried it and have been using it ever since.
