Hello Fred,
My name is Bryan and I am contacting you about a job offer here in the town where I live. It is an Arts School and the Music Director would like to bring me onboard to keep all of the pianos in good operating condition. I don't think that it would be a full-time salaried position yet, but when their budget allows, that could be a distinct possibility. For the next few months, I'm thinking that would give me the time to really get to know these pianos better. I tune them all about 2-3 times a year, but many of them need technical repairs. The high altitude and harsh weather takes its toll. Would you be willing to visit with my for a little while to answer any questions that I may have? I hope not to take up too much of your time. There are approximately 27 pianos there for me to work on. I'm hoping that this is what will give me the experience that I need to pass all three exams in order to become an RPT. I am a member of the Orange County, CA Chapter. What I'm really hoping for most, is to ask for a fair compensation that will neither overcharge them nor underpay me. I'm seeking a fair number. Still perusing the CAUT Guidelines issued by the PTG.
I hope to hear from you soon,
Bryan W. Goodhead
