Does anyone have a source for dampers for 1924 Chickering upright?  It has brass damper holders. The dampers themselves look like they have a wood back that fits in the brass receptacle. Above that is the damper felt backing and the actual damper felt.

Unlikely that you'll find an actual replacement source for these, however you might try soaking the brass in ammonia for about 30 min and it may make cleanup of the existing parts much easier. Not a guarantee but that's what I would try first. If successful not too difficult to adapt supply house felts to that, or make your own. Not rocket science.

I believe Pianotech used to sell brass sockets.  May need to improvise.  Could polish and lacquer the existing sockets.
