The university you are at may employ a machinist who could come measure the thread and diameter for you. Or you can measure the thread diameter with a caliper or micrometer, go get several choices of nut with likely thread count, and see what fits. I've become friends with a "retired" machinist in town who would come over to the school and measure it for me-finding people like him is very helpful.
On Kathy's end, she can take the handle to a hardware store and they can figure it out by what size and thread screws into it.

Hi, Kathy.
It may be the same thread, but ours have a t-handle.
How could we verify that? I don't have any with the round handle to compare.
I actually prefer those.
Thanks,
Dave

I'm sure I have the wheel-shaped handle which preceded the T, I replaced a whole set back in the day, because of a broken-off socket flange! I don't know if the threads are interchangeable.

Paul, this is at a Univeristy. With College students who know (or think they do) everything.
But it's never their fault (or hide the evidence if it is).
Actually, I was only looking for help finding a part, not for commentary of who did, should or shouldn't do something.
Have you got a part for me?
Thanks,

I don't understand why they unscrew the T-bolt more than a couple turns! I constantly find them unscrewed several times out. It's unnecessary and frustrating. Then, they don't screw them back in when 'parking' it back in its' resting place! Ugh!!

Someone backed out the locking T-bolt all the way and it can't be found. S&S will only sell complete casters. I only need the bolt. Hoping someone has orphaned parts they can spare. TIA
