    Yesterday, I tuned an Ansdell grand, s#800419, for a new client. It appears to be a stencil piano, warm wood colors, poly finish, French style case.

    Does anyone have information on the maker of this piano or the date of manufacture?

    Ansdell was a longtime retailer in Southern California.  They had a sizable shop too.

    Best to go by the pianos markings and features - highly likely to be Korean built, or early Chinese.

    Paul Rea worked with them off and on over the years and might know more.
