Anyone have Any idea what key dip is supposed to be? Ours at NIU definitely needs some regulation....
I'm other news, I have healed much faster than originally thought would happen, can walk around pretty normally and my hand/ wrist is healed enough that I can tune and play piano. In an odd change, I now have no difficulty stretching to play octaves. Before I fell, my hand didn't quite reach that far...,
I am very grateful to the many colleagues who have stepped up to help me and NIU, particularly with things requiring strength in both hands.

In my experience, celestas typically require more dip than pianos, maybe 11-12 mm. But it is the same principle, dip and blow being related directly - so if you make blow less, you can make dip less.
