Hello All!
The Appalachian Piano Tech Camp is returning in 2026 on May 15 & 16 in rural WV. There are 25 seats available, although we tend to fill up fast. Basic room & board is included in the $100 fee.
We will have between 20-40 learning stations that will cover a wide range of topics including: installing a string, making a hitch pin loop, splicing a string, traveling grand hammers, reading a micrometer, rebushing keys, spacing keys, repining flanges, fixing stripped screws, fixing a broken upright hammer shank, fixing an upright damper spring, bending damper wires, Do-No-Harm Vertical Damper Wire Bending, using a gram gauge, repairing a broken agraffe,
replacing hammers, bedding a grand action keyframe, tilting a piano, troubleshooting regulation issues, practicing regulation on action models, and more.
