Hello All,

Since our Appalachian Piano Tech Camp was so successful, I thought we'd try a tuning camp this year as well. It is scheduled for May 4 through May 11. 

This will be a week long, intensive workshop for piano technicians to learn tuning concepts that can be used to practice setting temperaments and tuning pianos aurally. This workshop is based on concepts taught by the Butler School of Piano Technology, but adapted for students who already have foundational knowledge in music theory and for a one week setting. One can not learn to aurally tune pianos in a single week, but one can gain more foundational knowledge and understanding that one can take home with them for more directed and productive practice. The instructors will be Maggie Jusiel and Mae Tipple, assisted by Morgan Sieg.
