Anyone out there with knowledge of a Baldwin Concert Master II ? I am looking for a remote that will work with it. Owner says his remote was damaged by old, leaking batteries. He moved several times and can not find the owners manual. The Concert Master unit was a factory install and is thinner and sleeker than early models that looked like after market car air conditioners.

NOTE : I posted this same message on the Player thread but had no reply.

This may be a long shot but you might try contacting Evan Baruch on FB in Mt Dora FL. He used to be able to use Cakewalk software to do something on the ConcertMaster. Cakewalk was purchased by another digital music company in 2017. You can Google Cakewalk for info. Evan and I both sold pianos years ago.

Patsi... Thank you for the leads . I have done QRS Pianomation III updates in the past and they work great if a client wants to have a wireless system .At the moment the client is just interested in getting the system to play. I contacted Gibson/Baldwin and the support person there said he was sending me a copy of the manual as an email attachment. For whatever reason it did not come through so I will have to call on Monday

Roy Peters in Cincinnati posted 3 years ago on this forum that QRS Pianomation III can be used to update the Concert Master. He has installed these. Contact him, he is a piano tech.

    Hi James,

I thought I had replied to you, but maybe not. The Concertmaster II's were produced by Pianoforce after Baldwin was purchased by Gibson. I don't have much experience with those units. Barnabas Fazekas (sp?) was involved with Pianoforce I believe. Maybe you could look him up. The remaining Concertmaster control units at the time of the Baldwin bankruptcy were purchased by QRS and were marketed as the Serenade and the Serenade Pro. The QRS connection with the Concertmaster brand ended. At any rate, you would be looking for a Pianoforce not a QRS product.

I have a bunch of old QRS remotes in boxes somewhere. But I don't know that they would work with your Pianoforce unit.

Roy... thanks for the information. The client sent me a picture of the label on the back and it definitely says Pianoforce so I guess I need to dive down that rabbit hole That brings up the question now will QRS Pianomation II upgrades work with Pianoforce electronics. I will try to track down Barnabas
