dI have a school client who was gifted a relatively "new" Baldwin grand. It has a Baldwin Concertmaster player system in it. The control box uses CD's (it's that old), and the box sticks out on the left side of the keybed, causing a knee-knocker situation. The school does not use or want the player system. The action also has some serious hammer distance problems. I want to remove the entire system for them. Questions: should the existing system interfere at all with the regular action (as it possibly does)? Have you removed this type of system, and if so, any difficulties?
