I use glass "Boston bottles", from a lab or chemical supply company. I store them in my car in a plastic box with cardboard partitions that I made; the box fits the bottles exactly and there is no rattling around; it holds about 15 200 ml bottles. Usually there is an old towel on top of the box for some insulation and I have had no trouble with acetone, alcohol, Goo Gone, B72 mixture, laquer, CLP, etc.
Any type of plastic bottle will eventually degrade, though it might be worth while to use plastic for its shock resistence.
If you have DAG or any other type of staining chemical be aware of the risk of ruining a customer's carpet or furniture if a bottle leaks!
