There have been emails circulating to PTG members purporting to be able to sell the attendee list of over 6000 (!) people. Yesterday I also had a voicemail asking me to call back about the convention. (It was from a business not related to the PTG) which was probably also a part of a scam.  Our home office has confirmed that activity is going on and there is nothing that can be done to stop it.

Don't respond to these kind of solicitations.

Me too.  The last few days I've gotten about 3 emails a day and an occasional voicemail like the one you described.  They offer lists and hotel deals.  One year (about ten yeas ago) I was actually fooled into thinking one of these hotel deals was official and signed up with my credit card.  Within a couple of hours I researched the company and demanded my money back.  I had to jump though all sorts of hoops but I eventually managed to undo the deal.  These companies harvest email and phone numbers from the publicly available data of exhibitors and instructors for the convention.  As the PTG emails have been saying repeatedly, none of these deals are official - not the hotel agents and certainly not the attendee lists which are not available to anyone outside the PTG.
