I'm a piano tuner in Italy, and over the past several months I've built a small ear-training tool for myself, mostly because I wanted a way to practice historical temperaments without needing a piano free every time.

It's a desktop app (currently macOS, Windows in testing) that synthesizes tones with a physically-modeled inharmonicity (stretched partials, so the beats behave like real strings, not a pure sine approximation). Eleven temperaments so far - equal, 1/4-comma meantone, Werckmeister III, Kellner, Pythagorean, Zarlino, both Kirnbergers, Vallotti, Tempérament Ordinaire - each verified to close correctly to the Pythagorean comma. You step through a real tuning sequence, can cross-check any note against another already-tuned note, and it shows the real beat rate in Hz alongside the cent deviation once you reveal it.
