Yes there is. Laura Cirelli, assistant professor at the university of Toronto at Scarborough has done research in the effects of music and frequency on infants. The effects even benefit fetuses in the womb. There is no question that playing music to infants can develop all kinds of benefits as well as advancing musicianship for them. Rick Beato has used these ideas (and then some) to develop his son Dylan, who is now a young man, in to musical genius status.

I think that is a great thing what your son is doing!

Subject: Frequencies for Babies and Infants
I am curious if there is research about how frequencies can affect infants as they develop at various ages. For example are lower frequencies such as 432 more calming ? Is there any correlation between listening to classical music early in life and development of musical skills and ability to identify pitch or intervals ? Is anyone familar with classical recordings that are good to play to infants/toddlers ? My son in law is starting to expose his daughter to music and she seem to respond, listen and even smile to Phantom of The Opera. In one of a videos he sent it looks like she is either conducting or playing an instrument in a dream
