I just ran into a secretary desk Howard piano. The keyboard swings up and under the direct blow action. When closed it appears to be a desk with 3 drawers.
8 screws to get it open and access to the action. Structure seems sound. I will try to post photos in a later email.

Anyone seen one of these? I'm looking for recommendations for easier access for tuning and action work and possible value.

Thanks for any info, Nancy Salmon RPT

I remember meeting one many years ago.

I don't remember having any trouble taking out some action parts so I can tune it, but the details are a blur by now. It was fun. Short scale?

Nancy... please send some pictures and a serial number. I want to research what sounds like a rare piano. Maybe worth seeing if PTG Museum would like to acquire it some day....
