I'm having trouble connecting my KMD to my iPad. I can connect it to my iMac mini without a problem. On the iPad, I can see the KMD device, but it seldom connects and if it does, it drops it almost immediately. Has anyone discovered any special settings that need to be made to allow the iPad to be used with a KMD?

This annoyance is with the iOS software and how it manages WiFi.  You are likely in range of another wifi connection that DOES have internet, and so the iPad will default to that sometimes.  To stop that from happening, you have to click the "i" for info button on each wifi that you normally connect to, and turn off the switch for "auto connect".  This isn't totally necessary, but it does prevent the iPad from making its own decisions (like, if it's working with the KMD, but then the screen turns off, and you turn it back on and it unlocks, then it goes "oh this KMD-69 network doesn't have active internet, I'm going to connect to one that does")

I've found that if I tap on the KMD network, and just stay on the network page until the iPad can finish its DHCP configuring and accept that there really isn't internet on the wifi device, you should see the spinning thing stop.  If you tap the "i" info on the KMD network while connecting, you will see either the router or your device IP address blank, until it finally settles down and accepts the connection.  THEN go to your browser and use 192.168.1.67 to connect to the KMD.

I've had it happen multiple times that the connection is severed when it goes into the lock screen, and despite still being connected to the KMD network, the "webpage" goes offline and won't re-connect until I try to refresh the browser.  (Again assuming this is an iPad or browser issue, making the decision to not look for a connection, because it works instantly when refreshing the page.)  So if that happens - screen turns off but the KMD wifi symbol turns red – make sure to save the reading to your local files before refreshing!

What model of iPad are you using, and what version of iOS? The only time I had trouble with mine was when it got to be 6-7 years old. The software and hardware had become too old to support various apps and tasks, leading to behavior like you describe.
