Pianotech

Hello Everyone!

I have a customer with a very heavy piano lid, and wanted to get a lid assist system, to help lift the lid and for safety concerns as well.  When I was doing my research, I didn't see any discussions in the 10 years on Pianotech, and even the Piano Buyer article is from 2016. (The article doesn't list a website, just an email.  I tried emailing, hoping for a response back).  I also tried reaching out to Hailun, as I know that type of system is available on some of their grands, but that might be proprietary, still waiting to hear back as well.

Does anyone have any recent experience installing one of these systems?  If so, where did you get it from?  Installation tips?  

Any information someone has would be most welcome.  Thanks!
