Thank you, Roger and Peter. I just wanted to follow up that I was able to make contact with David via email after a follow up email, in which he CC'd Bunmi and it seemed an order was under way. The last email I received was Friday (Monday was a holiday, tonight is Wednesday), but haven't heard back. I've got 3 different Kawai phone numbers now that I've tried, they all go to the same place. No pick up.
Is there anywhere else one can purchase Kawai parts? It's feeling like I'll have to repin the old composite flanges to new shanks.

I just ordered some parts recently. Dialed 800-421-2177 then parts extension, and spoke to Jeanie Togiola. Very pleasant and quick.

Robin,
I had the same problem contacting Kawai parts department. I left messages on their message machine multiple times for over 3 months. Never got a response. I received a contact email through a Kawai dealer technician and received a reply immediately. Go to: dreed@kawaius.com or aadelekee@kawaius.com
I wish the PTG home office would list all the service and parts department contact information for us. It's basic valuable information. Either they don't or won't.

Does anyone have information about ordering parts from Kawai?
I've only found the general contact on this page. I left a voicemail but no return call. My colleague reported also not being able to get through or get a reply, so I admittedly haven't been very persistent.
Also, does anyone happen to know if Kawai's RX series hammers are somehow different than for their other series? The RX voicing manual seems to suggest it. Client shopped around diligently 25 years ago to find the piano sound they connected with, so I'm hoping to go OEM for that reason.
For anyone who has replaced hammers on an RX series (this one an RX-2), what was your experience with the particular hammers you used? I'm going to be testing Abel and Renner samples anyway, but would appreciate others' insights.
