Does anyone in the room have experience with any of the organizations that offer to take your piano(s) as donation? Presumably the donated pianos go to needy/worthy students.  Not sure if this is some new form of scam or not.

Thanks for any info, specific or general,

Maybe my question was too vague (?)  If one researches "donating a piano...", e.g., a few specific names of organizations come up, one of which is "pianosforeducation.org", which is the one I was made aware of today by a client who is arranging with them the pickup of his piano.  Wondering if anyone knows about or has dealt with them or any of the other groups like that.  Thanks.

A google search turned up this: https://nonprofitpoint.com/charities-that-accept-pianos/

There's more if you search how to donate pianos.
