  • 1.  Piano Technicians Survey - Results

    Hello all,

    I got word back from the PTJ editors, saying they are not interested in publishing the survey results. However, I had so many of you ask me to let you know what the results were, so I've decided to publish them here. Attached is the overview of the survey results, written in a word document that was supposed to be the first part of a multi-article series. Due to time constraints, I won't be writing the other parts at this time. Also attached is an excel spreadsheet with the raw data if anyone wants to go through it themselves.

    A big thank you once again to everyone who participated! I hope you enjoy learning a little more about our industry. I know I did.

    I'm really impressed with your research, efforts, and article! I found it very interesting.
    I can't imagine why the Journal isn't interested in publishing this article. I'm disappointed that this was their response.
    I appreciate you letting us read your results here.
    I hope the Journal Editors change their minds.

    you did a great job ! Even if I do't belong to your community (I live in Italy) I partecipated to the survey, and being able to read results was very interesting.

    I would like to raccomend to my national association and to Europiano to implement a similar survey, inspiring to yours, if you allow me.
