I'm apologize if this is a mundane question, but I have a Bösendorfer nameboard back from finish repair and need to install new nameboard felt. I have two concerns:
    1. What is the best glue for this purpose?
    2. How to install to make sure the edge of the felt doesn't catch on the rear edges of the key covers and get folded under.
This is a strip of felt from Bösendorfer that I am still waiting for in the mail, not the self-adhesive kind. Any insights would be welcome!

Not to be smart but perhaps you should ask the supplier's techs what they use. This  felt , at least the adhesive type Schaff sells, is very thin. The wrong glue may wick through and too much glue may ooze out and harden the felt. maybe all that is needed is a thin bead on the front and rear edges . Perhaps applying the glue on the wood, waiting for it to get tacky and rolling the felt down as you go.A yardstick could be used as a clamp taping it every few inches. If you have several inches extra try various glues and attach to a piece of scrap wood.
