Hi Paul. Looks like the hold-down was just a flat piece of steel shaped appropriately. Maybe some 1/8" steel flat bar from the hardware store, a hacksaw, a drill and a file would do the trick.

Subject: Replacement Cheek Block Hold-Downs
I have an old York piano that has been refinished, but they removed the cheek block hold-downs and didn't replace them. This is the action that has a flat metal piece instead of a pin sticking out of each side. Attached are a couple pics of the cheek block with holes for the hold-down. If anyone has a couple of these lying around or knows where one might find one, or even a description of what it looks like, dimensions, etc., I'd be grateful. TIA.
