So is the piano a Hyundai or a Samick ??? asking for a friend ....
I have tuned pianos made by Yamaha for Story and Clark where the decal on the fallboard says Story and Clark but there is a note embossed on the plate made by Yamaha
I guess the same thing goes for the Boston made to Steinway specs

I've tuned Hyundais and Samicks, but never a stenciled Hyundai with a Samick decal on the fallboard. Not sure why that happened.

Yup a client here has a Hyundai in white polyester. Not too bad- I think the fall board has a Hyundai decal

Hi all,
Yesterday, I tuned a small grand. It said Samick on the fallboard, but Hyundai on the plate. It's from the mid 80's and it was purchased in Hamburg.
Has anyone ever seen one of these? It was actually a really nice piano; played great and not too bad sounding.
