Tuned one of these gems last evening.  It looks like something a drunk uncle assembled.  The best I can say about it is it has a nice exterior finish and it sounded better than a Lester spinet after tuning.  :-)

As someone who has played and worked on pianos for many years, I can definitely relate to the frustration that can come with trying to tune a poorly assembled instrument. However, it's always rewarding when you're able to make an improvement in its sound, no matter how modest.

It's also worth noting that the exterior finish of a piano can be an important aspect of its overall appearance and value, especially if it's an older or more collectible instrument. So, while the assembly may have been lacking in some areas, it's great that the piano still looks good from the outside.
