Attention rebuilders who are in search of a vintage Steinway A 85 note ( 1896) with ice cream cone legs- stain ebony. One of my schools needs this out ASAP. Although it has been rebuilt several times through the years, it really needs the full restoration at this time. The soundboard does have some bearing and sustain is the low side of being decent, it should be replaced.
Anyhow, this is the perfect rebuilding stock if anyone is interested. They'll take the best offer that comes this week. I'm guessing you could get this for $3500.
