I've got a client who requires a capo d'astro restringing for her Schimmel Model K208, which is a 6'10" grand.  There are no string gauge numbers on the plate or the bridge that I can find.  Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can get a stringing schedule for this piano?  I e-mailed the factory and haven't received any reply.  

Easiest: measure and record the strings diameter as you remove them. Best: measure the lengths of all the strings (as well as diameters) and send the information to someone who can generate an optimal stringing scale. JD Grandt, or Heller, for example, can do this for you. Other technicians are capable of this service as well (Arno, Paulello, et al.).
