Anyone ever heard of Sonnova Piano? A customer recently said she wanted to upgrade from a small digital keyboard to a real piano and showed me a photo of the one she wanted. It's a new 48" Sonnova upright piano sold exclusively via mail order through Caruso Piano Gallery in the New England area of the US. She likes it because it's pink and it's only $6K with free delivery. She also liked the green one, same deal. A web search turns up nothing except the Caruso web site and the Sonnova web site, but I am unable to access the Sonnova web site because my browser has blocked it. No online reviews or mentions of it of any kind that I could find.
I remember once, a while back, that some music store chain was selling an inexpensive mail order only acoustic piano, both grand and upright, but I can't remember the name. They were incredibly cheap and got mostly negative reviews. I can't find any reference to this, either, but could this be the same brand?
Anyone know anything about Sonnova pianos? I'm inclined to discourage her but who knows? I may be missing something here.
