    Greetings,

    A long-time client of mine, a professional pianist with a new-ish Schimmel K280, is relocating to western Maine. He will be moved into his new home in East Machias, Washington County by the first of the year.

    This individual appreciates and requires top-drawer piano servicing. I have found it very rewarding to work for him over the years.

    Please let me know if you are a technician up to this task, that services the area mentioned, or if you can strongly recommend someone that does (who may not be on these lists).

    Actually, that's almost as EASTERN Maine as you can get.  

    Gina Bonfietti, the NERVP would probably be a good go-to for info. I'm not even going to check whether the Find Technician app is working yet on the PTG page yet, but you might give that a try.

    Actually, Jurgen loves to fly.  Now that he has so much time on his hands, maybe he'd like to go?

    My chapter submitted a RFA asking the board to take official action to fix the Find an RPT Button. Hopefully we'll see a fix relatively soon.

    I just had that familiar old experience of having a post disappear right before sending, so I'll be brief.  There IS some search functionality on the Home Office Page https://www.ptg.org/home
    Sign in, go to PTG Members, then Member Directory, and plug in just the state name.  It will bring up at least some of the members, though I'm not sure whether that includes only Crafts-person, etc.  It's probably better than nothing.

    Thanks for your suggestions, David. I just visited Jurgen on Vancouver Island a couple of months ago. I understand that he purchased a Learjet with the profit he made on selling his Supply business, so he can just pop on over to Bangor Airport (lattitudially close!) and then drive a few hours and he's there!

    Indeed - he probably would (have), save for the environmental impact.  

    Also, I forgot to add that, on that tech list, I know Nancy Walker Parry, who's been in that area for a long time, and Linnea Johnston, who I was surprised (pleasantly) to see had relocated up there, from NY.  (Not sure about posting numbers on this page, but they are available).

    Sounds like an interesting place . Lots of clams and lobsters, not a lot of people . Eastern most location in the US . Cant get thar from here or I would try it. Check with the Boston PTG and other New England Chapters
