MLB The Show 26 arrived on March 17, 2026, bringing Conquest back to Diamond Dynasty. The USA East Map looks busy at first, but it becomes much easier once you focus on the reward route rather than every single matchup. A steady supply of MLB 26 stubs also helps when you are shaping a competitive squad, though the map itself provides plenty of useful progress through XP, player items, and fan milestones.

Set the Route Before You Attack

Take a moment to read the objectives before placing a single fan. The map includes targets of 75 million and 100 million fans, plus several team-based rewards. Taking the NL East stronghold gives you 88 OVR Joe Mack, while the AL East reward is an 88 OVR George Lombard Jr. Clearing every territory adds a No-Sell Spring Breakout Choice Pack. There is also a rush objective involving the Los Angeles Dodgers, so check whether that target must be completed during the opening turn. Missing it can force you to replay the map.

    Objective Reward or Progress
Reach 75 million fans Map objective progress
Reach 100 million fans Map objective progress
Capture NL East 88 OVR Joe Mack
Capture AL East 88 OVR George Lombard Jr.

    Build One Reliable Front

Most players make the same early mistake: they spread fans across too many spaces. Keep your army together instead. Surround an opposing stronghold, restrict its routes, and then take the unclaimed territory behind it. Each extra space increases the reinforcements you receive at the next turn. If an opponent cuts your chain, do not panic. Add fans, reconnect the route, and carry on. The Steal Fans phase is usually not worth the time here. Territory income does the job well enough.

    Use Numbers to Save Time

Count the spaces ahead before you move. Five empty territories in a straight run require at least six fans in the attacking territory, since one fan must remain behind after each capture. Regular spaces without team logos are ideal for quick simulations. You may lose a few fans now and then, but playing every small matchup slows the whole run. Keep manual games for the marked strongholds, where the result matters.

    Make Strongholds Easier

The displayed difficulty is tied to the fan difference between your attacking space and the defender. A matchup against Atlanta, Tampa Bay, or Washington may begin on Veteran or All-Star. You do not have to accept that setting. Skip the attack, reach the next Reinforce phase, and load more fans onto the same launch point. Repeat this once or twice, then check the matchup again. A larger advantage can move the game down to Rookie, which makes the key matches far less stressful.

Read every objective and note any first-turn requirement.
Secure a connected route around enemy strongholds.
Stack reinforcements before pushing into marked spaces.
Simulate ordinary territories and play the important strongholds.

    Finish With a Strong Roster

This approach keeps the map moving without wasting games on low-value spaces. You gain territory, raise your fan count, and make the important matchups more manageable. Once the rewards are collected, the extra XP, cards, and MLB The Show 26 stubs can go straight towards improving the Diamond Dynasty lineup.
