Yup, it was interesting, it seems to basically be making a recording, and then analyzing it. When you look at its diagnostics later, you can tell which notes didn't "take" but it doesn't seem to affect the curve much. I liked the waterfall display, showing energy intensity around the notes. Useful for the top couple of octaves.
Last update I saw was on PianoWorld, and the apps are under development:

I haven't tried the "classic" mode yet, but it looks to take less time sampling.

Hi Jim,
I got it installed. They need an owners manual imo.
Sampling is a bit unusual as it doesn't do every note. iifc it stops at a5? (I should have noted that down).
I think 3 notes did not sample correctly, but there is no "instant" response so one doesn't know until sampling is completed.
The piano I was using was a Yamaha C7B from 1977.

Hi Jim,
Thanks for your answer
I got in--it looks as if it works like a web page--so it works with android, apple, windows, mac, etc. Please correct me if I am wrong.
I've not had any luck with down loading the app.

Hi Don!
Cody says apps for both platforms are coming. It's beta software. It's currently a web app, so "good luck with all the browsers". It works on my iPhone/iPad is all I can attest to.
He reworked his domains, now the app is here:

Try here:
https://www.vipertune.com
The access code does not appear to be gated, I got one immediately.
It's in beta, so it's not on the app store. It may never be in the app store, because it's implemented entirely as a web app!

Hi Jim:
How does one sign up to test it? I don't see any links other than the whitepaper. I couldn't find it in the App store for iphone. Am I missing something?
