If it has not been frozen it should stoll be okay. If the white has separated from the clear and won't reamalgamate it's toast. I am not aware of any "toxic" chemicals in there. However, Gerry Cousins, RPT would likely know.

Not PFAs, according to AI, but could break down into heavy metals, particularly in 'low quaility' products. I think this is about solid silicone things, so, who knows.?

Interesting, Cindy. I'm wondering if some of the products we use are PFAs, the so-called forever chemicals that are polluting waterways and landscapes around the country.

I moved a couple years ago and was storing my 'excess' work stuff in my garage. Central Illinois. I have since retired and wanted to give the liquids away, but was afraid the volatile weather would have damaged them. Jon Page assured me that CBL was ok, and Schaff said that Protek was OK but could not tell me anything about VS Profelt. I had some old parts and did a sort of test. It seemed to me that it became more of a lubricant and less of a felt-fluffer.
Not a hazardous waste, so I am OK tossing it, but I am curious if anyone has an opinion about this.
Thanks,
