    Hi All:

I thought I'd create this discussion to share ideas on using ETD's, apps, and other devices for piano tuning.  I've been using an Accutuner for many years, but have more recently tried some other software.  First up is making sure my battery doesn't go dead in my phone, for obvious reasons, and has has sent me on a trek to find the best solution to keep my batter charged.  The Accutuner doesn't have that problem, since it's a stand-alone machine.

I don't intend this group to get into "my app is better than yours" debates, which would not be very productive.  There are options of temperaments, stretch, sensitivity, pitch, etc., that I haven't explored too much, but I'd love to hear about what options you use and why.

I could see having a separate group discussion for owners of different apps, but there are restrictions on communities that don't allow advertisers to create their own community, so it would be up to individual owners to create one.

Maybe some of you would like to explain why you chose a particular app, what you like about it, and what features you might want to have implemented.  Or what you might like to see improvements on.  I think this sort of discussion would be helpful for everyone, even if you don't own that particular app.

    Let's get into it.

    Paul
