The Arrow glue gun I purchased at Lowes. The Wetzler SP-2 spring clamps I use are old as the hills and have a shallow groove on the inside of the clamp that slides nicely onto the hammer felts. They slip over the hammer felt and hold it in place while the glue gun material sets up. Hardly any time at all for it to do that. Applying the glue where it barely oozes out on both sides takes some practice. I carry three clamps along with the glue gun, glue sticks and an extension electrical cord in a special Plano box. By having more than one clamp I can be letting the hammer/glue set up while preparing the second hammer and so forth. [Edited 10/18/13]#2013
